CABIN IN DOWNEAST MAINE
ONE ROOT OF MY ART
60 years ago my parents began building this camp on Petit Manan Point in Downeast Maine. This is the guest cabin which we are now renting during the summer and early fall months. It is nestled in the Petit Manan Wild Life Refuge. There are miles of wooded paths and unpopulated beaches to explore. It is also a bird sactuary . On the isolated eastern shore, the first bald eagles began renesting in the 1970's.
The closest town is Milbridge which has a grocery store and laundrymat and an old fashioned movie theater.
Check this website's 'Links with Friends' page including the Schoodic Chamber of Commerce link for other resources in the area.
Weekly rental cost is $325 plus electricity and propane for the stove . More than one week cost is $300 plus utilities. Folks need to bring their own linens and towels.

The Cabin

The beach....

The porch from which you can see the ocean.
Many a painting was created here.

The living room... from every window one can see only trees and water.

The back bedroom...

The dining room for meals and games.

All Souls By the Sea is a church built the end of the 1800s and 1/2 mile walk from the cabin.
